'Stranger Things' Star Joe Keery Shares Stunning Debut Solo Single 'Roddy'

Stranger Night Paris At Le Grand Rex

We all know and love Joe Keery as Stranger Things' bully-turned hero Steve Harrington, but did you know the actors also has some serious musical chops? He used to play with a psych band called Post Animal in Chicago, and is now venturing off into solo artist territory with a new project called Djo. The 27-year-old recently released his debut single "Roddy," and it's, well, really good.

Accompanied by dreamy guitars, keys, and drums Keery softly sings "There's somethin' wrong with this world/ I feel it coming on/ And contradictions take their toll/ Is that where we went wrong?/ And somethin' struck me/ It struck me deep/ It knocked me to my knees/ Roddy step on back from me" in the chorus.

Listen to "Roddy" below.

Keery isn't the only musically inclined member of the Stranger Things cast. Finn Wolfhard (aka Mike Wheeler) fronts an indie rock band called Calpurnia. The band released its debut EP, Scout, last year and have played a handful of shows since. Unfortunately, they recently had to cancel their summer shows "due to scheduling issues." Could the 16-year-old be filming a new project? We'll just have to wait and see. For now, we're perfectly happy with bingeing Stranger Things season 3.
