Earlier this week, The 1975 announced that their upcoming album A Brief Inquiry Into Online Relationships is slated for a November 30 release, and on Thursday (September 13) gave fans another taste of what to expect from the new collection of songs in the form of "Sincerity Is Scary."
The album's fourth single is a departure from the others. It's a slow-ish, jazzy track that shows vocalist Matty Healy testing out his R&B chops as he croons "Why can't we be friends, when we are lovers?/ 'Cause it always ends with us hating each other/ Instead of calling me out you should be pulling me in/ 'I've just got one more thing to say'" during the contemplative chorus.
