SC Schools To Remain Closed Through April

(Columbia, S.C). Public K-12 schools in our state will remain closed through the end of April.

Governor Henry McMaster and State Superintendent Molly Spearman made that announcement is a statement released this afternoon.

They praised teachers and administrators for the progress they've made in allowing students to continue classes from home while acknowledging the strain it puts on students and parents. The statement vowed to reopen schools sooner if possible.

Schools were originally closed through the end of this month due to the Coronavirus pandemic.
