According to Entertainment Weekly, Ryan Reynolds (Deadpool) and Rob McElhenney (It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia) have teamed up to buy Wrexham AFC, a fifth-tier football club from North Wales.
The football club's supporters voted overwhelmingly to approve a takeover by the Hollywood stars. Wrexham is the third-oldest football club in the world and the pair have plans to push the team into the spotlight and give it the global appeal they believe it deserves. Reynolds and McElhenney have pledged to inject two million pounds into the team and are planning a documentary tracking Wrexham's ups and downs.
