The Beatles arrived here in America for the first time on this day 60 years ago!
Friday, February 7, 1964 the band landed at JFK aboard Pan Am flight 101 shortly after 1pm, and on hand to welcome them was an estimated crowd of more than 3,000 Beatlemaniacs!
The band also did their first press conference here in the states shortly after landing that day, which you can watch a clip of below along with a news reel from their arrival!
